Seán Manley  B.E.(Hons), M.Sc., CEng, MIEI


Seán Manley graduated with an Honours Degree in Civil Engineering from University College Dublin in 2003. He spent the following six years working as a civil/structural engineer both on site and in engineering consultancy firms in Ireland and Australia. His experience was recognised with the award of Chartered Engineering status from the Institution of Engineers of Ireland in 2009. Seán returned to full-time study in September 2009 to complete a M.Sc. in Energy Management at Dublin Institute of Technology and graduated with first class honours. He is now employed as a Senior Engineer and Construction Project Manager with Green Cat Renewables, a renewable energy consultancy specialising in wind farm and small scale hydro electric development. Seán is currently undertaking a PhD research programme with Dublin Institute of Technology under the tutelage of Stokes Professor Dr. Jonathan Blackledge ( The research proposes to develop a stochastic model for wave power quality using a Levy Index analysis of wave data.
