greenhouse gas emission scenarios to 2020

Currently conducting doctoral research on the application of the ‘Scenarios’ technique to projecting national GHG emissions and developing mitigation policy in Ireland. Due for completion in 2009, the aim of this research is to use international best practice in applying scenarios, to determine future GHG emissions. With a view to meeting reduction targets under international obligations, a range of policies and measures will tested through the scenarios to determine mitigation potential. Convened and facilitated a high-level Irish expert group on scenarios of Irish GreenHouse Gas emissions to 2020.
