Annual Prize Giving Ceremonies

Academic Awards

Each spring students who excel in their studies within the Optometry programme take part in the annual School of Physics prize giving ceremony. We would like to express our appreciation to the wonderful support received from the prize sponsors without whom we could not be able to acknowledge our students accomplishments in this way.

Students Learning with Communities Awards

The DIT Programme for Students Learning With Communities annually award prizes to students, staff members and community partners for their collaborations on course-based projects and research and we are delighted with the contribution given by our students over the years.

Additional Awards

The Department of Optometry is very proud of our association with the Mozambique Eyecare Project and has, on occasion, awarded students who have shown an outstanding contribution to this worthy initiative.
