English Language Ability
If English is not your first language you will need to provide evidence of your English language proficiency as detailed in the list below. It is not necessary to submit this at the time of application, but the requirement to provide acceptable proof of English proficiency will be part of any conditional offer that you receive. If you have already achieved the required English proficiency score, you should upload your English proficiency certificate and scores along with your other documents in the upload section of your application.
The following English language proficiency tests and scores are acceptable for most programmes:

In addition, applicants must meet the DIT requirements for the particular programme(s) applied for. See individual programmes of study.
*Applicants for the DT574 must present a minimum IELTS (Academic Version) English Proficiency score of 7.5 or equivalent
*Applicants for DT344, DT349, DT346, DT9007, DT9008, DT015, DT711, DT9337 and some computing programmes must present a minimum IELTS (Academic Version) English Proficiency score of 6.5 or equivalent.
